I'm going to be making more changes to the layout etc of the blog as all that black made me want to go and listen to Bonnie Prince Billy records. Bear with me while I tinker, the layout will probably change a few more times before I'm happy.
People are also asking me if this is some sort of site for the Melbourne Communist Party Wine Club. I don't if the communist party have a wine club, but even so, I'm toying with changing the name. Again.
That's it for now.

Will Oldham is good for the soul man! "Although I see a Darkness...", ha ha. Take care you socialist. jeremy
Oh, and grab some 2006 Wallis Vineyard Chardonnay from Ten Minutes by Tractor. It is most good!
I like the new look. Very striking and invigorating. And a good use of primary colours. As bright and bubbly as the Hanging Rock Winery's Macedon Rose wouldn't you say...??
Some old friends came round for dinner with one of the best bottles i have ever tasted, this beeing a ROSEMONT shiraz-grenache.
All present said it was one of the best wines they had ever had the pleasure of drinking
Jeremy #1 - I see a darkness is possibly the most depressing, but strangely beautiful, song I've listened to.
Jeremy #2- I think that TMBT produce far better whites than reds. I've enjoyed the chardonnays I've tasted (need to check my notes on what they were) and as much as I bag the variety, their sauvignon as well. How much does the Wallis retail at?
Anon #1 - Hanging Rock Winery's Macedon Rose is a great wine and I'll be talking more about both Hanging Rock and the Macedon region soon
Anon #2 - You either consumed too much Absinthe for your aperitifs or this is some of jape.
Wallis Chardonnay around $55 but its worth it I promise. If you enjoy the nuances of CF, I think you'll love this too. Restrained, complex and with some lovely white flower notes.
Re: "Although I see a Darkness", you're spot on, thats why I put it in there. Seems we have more than enough in common to get along.
Yes, visit CF soon. Ask to speak to Jeni and arrange a time you'll visit. Can't guarentee anything but they are generous by nature and worth building a relationship with. Enjoy their company, talk about music and ask questions about wine. They are down to earth and lovely people. Love your comment on Rosemont ;). Will give you an email soon so you can reach me should you wish too. A warning though- I just spent the afternoon playing electric guitar along to a Dire Straits DVD concert. I'm a fickle beast. Cheers mate. jeremy

I would like your comments as to the Rosemount range which I undestand from a friend in the UK, that they can buy Rosemount at $2.00 when on offer. I have not seen it as cheap here.
